1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lingualite, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please don't use the app. We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.

2. User Account

Most of Lingualite works without an account. If you choose to sign in to sync progress across devices, you're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Eligibility

Lingualite is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority in your country, you may only use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Lingualite you also agree to that policy. We aim to collect as little as we can and to be clear about what we do collect and why.

5. Use of the App

You agree to use Lingualite only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with the app's normal operation, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it to harass anyone. You may not resell, redistribute, or use Lingualite content as the basis for a competing product without our written permission.

6. User Content

If you create custom courses, word sets, or notes inside Lingualite, that content remains yours. You grant us a limited, technical licence to store and display your content on your devices for the purpose of providing the service. We will not use your custom content to train external models.

7. Limitation of Liability

Lingualite is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the app working and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.

8. Termination

You can stop using Lingualite at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are seriously breached. If we end your access for misconduct, no refund is owed; otherwise, we'll honour any unused portion of a paid subscription where the relevant store policy requires it.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lingualite is registered. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be brought before the competent courts there. Nothing in this clause limits any consumer rights you may have under your local laws.
